Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 lbs. fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and cut up (2 1/2 c.) or possibly 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. frzn unsweetened peach slices, thawed slightly
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel

Direcciones

  1. In food processor bowl, combine peaches and lemon juice; cover and process till smooth. In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar and 1 c. boiling water till sugar is dissolved. Stir in peach mix and grated orange peel. Turn into a 9 x 13 pan; cover and freeze 3 to 4 hrs or possibly till hard. Break into chunks; transfer to a chilled, large mixer bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium high speed till smooth. Return to pan; cover. Freeze for several hrs or possibly till hard. Let stand 20 min at room temperature before scooping into dessert dishes.
