Receta Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread
If you like Chocolate and Peanut Butter together, and even if you don't, you will love this bread! It's delicious~ I am a huge fan of quick breads and this bread is a nice change from the typical quick bread recipes.
- Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread~
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
- Grease bottom and 1-inch up the sides of two 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pans
- Set aside
- In a medium bowl combine, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Set aside
- In a very large bowl beat peanut butter and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for
- 30 seconds, or until combined
- Add the sugars; beat on medium speed until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs, one at a time
- Combine buttermilk and vanilla
- Add buttermilk mixture and flour mixture alternately to peanut butter mixture
- Stir in mini chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and chopped dry roasted peanuts
- Divide batter evenly between pans
- Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. (some melted chocolate may stick to toothpick)
Remove from oven and cool bread in pans on wire rack for 10 minutes
Remove loaves from pans, cool completely on wire racks
Wrap each loaf in foil or in plastic wrap
