Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Peanut butter morsels
  • 1/2 c. Light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 4 c. Crisp rice cereal
  • 12 ounce Semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

  1. Preparation Time: 0:30Combine peanut butter morsels, corn syrup, and 2 Tbsp. butter in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Cook over warm water till morsels heat; stir well. Add in cereal, and stir well. Press half the mix into a buttered 12- x 8- x 2-inch baking dish, and refrigeratewhile preparing chocolate layer. Set remaining cereal mix aside. Combine chocolate morsels and 1/4 c. butter in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Cook mix over warm water till chocolate melts; stir well.
  2. Add in powdered sugar, lowfat milk, and vanilla extract, stirring till well blended. Spread chocolate mix over chilled layer. Spread remaining cereal mix over chocolate layer; press layered mix firmly. Refrigeratetill set. Cut into bars.
  3. Yield: 2 dozen.
  4. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine peanut butter morsels, corn syrup, and 2 Tbsp. butter in a large bowl. Microwave at HIGH for 1-1/2 to 2 min or possibly till morsels begin to heat. Stir till morsels heat. Add in cereal, and stir well.

  7. Stir till morsels heat. Add in powdered sugar, lowfat milk, and vanilla, stirring till well blended. Spread chocolate mix over chilled layer. Spread remaining cereal mix over chocolate layer; press firmly. Refrigeratetill set. Cut into bars.
