Receta Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Cookies
I love the more mellow approach to combining chocolate and peanut butter just like these Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Cookies.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Cookies
- ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- ⅔ cup smooth peanut butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Hershey’s Chocolate Spread,
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the butter, peanut butter, and sugars using an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add in the egg and vanilla and beat until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
With mixer on low speed slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
Microwave chocolate spread for 20 seconds and then drizzle over the dough. Fold in the melted chocolate with a spatula until well-distributed throughout the dough to give it that “marbled” look .
Chill the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes and then roll small balls by hand. Place about an inch apart on cookie sheet and use a fork to press the balls down slightly.
Bake until the edges are lightly browned, about 8-10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 2 minutes, and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

It cannot be denied that peanut butter and chocolate are a match made in heaven!
I would love to meet the person who created the chocolate and peanut butter combination. I just want to bow down to them. Let them know that I dream about all the deliciousness that can be created from that combination of ingredients. That’s all. I would just bow and walk away.
And then I would go and gobble up all my peanut butter and chocolate swirl cookies and there won’t be any left.
And then when they ask me where did all the cookies go, I will look right at Kona and say “Did you do that?”
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
