Receta Peanut Butter Cups
It’s a little late for these to be considered as Valentine’s treats, but these are good for any time of year. They are made with peanuts, cacao, coconut oil and sweetened with a little bit of honey – just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Peanut Butter Cups
- INGREDIENTS
- FOR THE BOTTOM
- 3/4 Cup of unsalted dry roasted peanuts
- 2 Tablespoons of virgin coconut oil
- 2 Tablespoons of honey
- FOR THE TOP
- 3/4 Cup of unsalted dry roasted peanuts
- 2 Tablespoons of virgin coconut oil
- 2 Tablespoons of honey
- 3/4 Cup of cacao powder
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE BOTTOM
place 3/4 cups of peanuts in a food processor and process until peanuts begin to form a thick paste
add coconut oil and process until well blended
add honey and process until well blended
pour the mixture into a mini cupcake pan, and place in freezer
FOR THE TOP
add the peanuts to food processor and blend until a paste begins to form
add coconut oil and process until well blended
add honey and process until well blended
add cacao and process
remove cupcake tin with bottoms from freezer
pour chocolate mixture over the peanut butter bottoms
place in freezer until solid
Store in Freezer or Refrigerator (for softer consistency)
