Receta Peanut, Coconut and Sesame Powder
Ingredients:
- Peanuts – 1 cup, roasted, skin removed
- Coconut – 1/4 cup, grated
- Roasted Sesame Seeds – 1/4 cup
- Cashewnuts – 5, fried, finely chopped
- Dry Red Chillies – 2
- Urad Dal – 2 tsp
- Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Fry the dry red chillies, urad dal and asafoetida powder for a minute.
3. Add coconut and salt.
4. Remove after 30 seconds.
5. Transfer to a mixer jar and grind for 15 to 20 seconds.
6. Add the peanuts, sesame seeds and grind coarsely.
7. Add the cashewnuts and mix well.
8. Store in an airtight container.
9. Serve with rice and ghee.
