Ingredientes

  • 4 x (4-6 ounce's. each) Alaska halibut steaks, thawed if necessary
  • 1/2 c. Peanut butter
  • 1/4 c. Soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Lime or possibly lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 c. Crushed corn flakes

  1. Mixing well-loved flavors such as peanut butter with less familiar flavors such as fish makes fish more acceptable to children. Marinating the halibut for 4-6 hrs before cooking enhances the peanut flavor without adding work. Alaska halibut is a mild flavored whitefish with a hard, meaty texture which appeals to all ages.
  2. Cut center bone and skin from halibut steaks and cut into 1-inch chunks.
  3. Place peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice and honey in blender. Blend till smooth. The mix should be thick. Place peanut butter mix in a glass dish and roll each halibut chunk in mix, proportionately coating all sides. Then roll halibut chunks in crushed corn flakes to coat. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in upper half of oven at 450" for 3-5 min, or possibly till fish just flakes when tested with a fork.
