Penne With Pink Vodka Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 x (16 oz) package dry penne pasta
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 clv garlic, crushed, peeled, chopped
  • 1/2 c. vodka
  • 2 x (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 pt whipping cream

Direcciones

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add in pasta and cook for 8 to 10 min or possibly till al dente; drain. In a large skillet, saute/fry garlic in the butter -
  2. Note: Don't brown or possibly it will be bitter - Add in vodka and cook for 3 min. Pour in tomatoes and cheese; stir till cheese melts. Stir in heavy cream and heat thoroughly - Note 2: Don't boil mix after adding cream or possibly it will curdle - Mix sauce into warm pasta.
