Ingredientes

  • 2 tbsp. of veg. oil or possibly bacon drippings
  • 4 c. of shredded red cabbage (1 med. sized)
  • 2 c. cubed, unpared apples (2 med. sized)
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper

Direcciones

  1. In skillet, heat oil. Add in remaining ingredients, cover tightly. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. For crisp cabbage, cook for 15 min; allow 25 to 30 min for more well done cabbage.
