Pennsylvania Dutch Rice Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Cooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. Confectioners sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Beat the egg yolks and fold in the sugar and lowfat milk. Stir into the rice. Fold in butter and raisins. Pour into a buttered 1 qt baking dish. Beat the egg whites till frothy, beat in the confectioners sugar and spread on top of the rice mix. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 325F about 30 min.
