Peppers Stuffed With Sauerkraut

Ingredientes

  • 6 large green peppers
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. finely minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 2 c. sauerkraut
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • Healthy pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
  • Grated cheese

Direcciones

  1. Cut thin slices from stem end of peppers, remove seeds and parboil in boiling salted water to cover 5 min. Mix remaining ingredients except cheese. Stuff peppers and top with grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 min. (1/2 lb. grnd beef may be added if you like, brown meat and onion in frying pan, and add in to above). Serves 6.
