%20Side%20Dish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20plan%20an%20Asian%20inspired%20meal,%20sometimes%20the%20main%20dish%20is%20just%20the%20beginning.%20I%20want%20sides%20that%20match%20the%20%22star%22%20of%20the%20meal%20in%20deliciousness,%20bite%20for%20bite.%20And%20sometimes,%20that%20is%20a%20challenge%20in%20itself.%20Not%20because%20I%20can't%20find%20anything%20to%20make,%20but%20because%20I%20find%20myself%20making%20the%20same%20things%20over%20and%20over%20because%20we%20enjoy%20them%20so%20much.%20So%20when%20can%20take%20something%20I%20know%20we%20love,%20like%20noodles,%20and%20switch%20them%20up%20a%20little%20bit%20with%20a%20new%20recipe,%20I%20am%20almost%20insured%20a%20success.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20never%20had%20Thai%20food,%20but%20I've%20been%20wanting%20to%20try%20it%20for%20quite%20some%20time%20now.%20And%20one%20of%20the%20things%20I%20hear%20about%20over%20and%20over%20in%20Thai%20cuisine%20are%20%22peanut%20noodles.%22%20But%20usual,%20those%20two%20words%20are%20preceded%20by%20another%20which%20doesn't%20go%20well%20into%20my%20vocabulary....spicy.%20I've%20shared%20with%20you%20before%20how%20Mr.%20Everyday%20loves%20spicy%20food.%20In%20fact%20the%20hotter,%20the%20better.%20And%20yes,%20Little%20Everyday%20definitely%20inherited%20the%20%22hot%22%20gene%20from%20his%20Daddy.%20Which%20is%20funny%20because%20Adam%20inherited%20it%20from%20his%20grandpa,%20so%20I%20guess%20the%20tradition%20lives%20on.%20But%20mama%20just%20can't%20handle%20it...at%20all!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20you%20can%20understand%20how%20excited%20I%20was%20when%20I%20found%20a%20peanut%20noodle%20recipe%20that%20in%20no%20way%20included%20the%20word%20spicy,%20or%20after%20looking%20at%20the%20ingredient%20list,%20anything%20that%20could%20even%20be%20considered%20spicy!%20This%20recipe%20couldn't%20be%20easier.%20We're%20talking%20boiling%20water,%20stirring%20pasta,%20making%20a%20quick%20sauce%20and%20wah-lah...a%20side%20dish%20is%20born.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20your%20family%20loves%20Asian%20food,%20I%20know%20they%20will%20adore%20these%20noodles.%20Such%20great%20flavor,%20and%20the%20perfect%20compliment%20to%20any%20Asian%20inspired%20meal!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20pasta%20is%20cooking,%20add%20peanut%20butter%20to%20medium%20glass%20bowl.%20Microwave%20for%2015%20seconds%20until%20soft.%20Whisk%20in%20vinegar,%20soy,%20oil,%20honey%20and%20ginger.%20Mix%20until%20well%20combined.%20Before%20draining%20pasta,%20add%202%20TBS%20starchy%20cooking%20water%20to%20peanut%20sauce.%20(It%20should%20be%20thick%20but%20pourable)%20Stir%20well.%20Add%20noodles%20to%20a%20large%20bowl.%20Add%20green%20onions.%20Pour%20sauce%20over.%20Combine%20well,%20coating%20all%20noodles%20with%20sauce.%20Garnish%20with%20green%20onions.%20Serve%20warm,%20room%20temp%20or%20cold!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*NOTE*%20When%20measuring%20ingredients,%20use%20the%20same%20TBS%20for%20the%20oil,%20and%20then%20the%20honey,%20it%20will%20slide%20right%20out!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAsian%20at%20Very%20Good%20Recipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPin%20It%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
