The Dish:  Autumn Salad 2 10 oz packages of mixed salad greens 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard Salt to taste - 2 cups dried cranberries (sweetened) - 2 4 oz packages of crumbled Feta cheese - 1 cup walnuts (toasted and coarsely chopped) - 5 Tablespoons Black Mission Fig balsamic vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper - 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil Mix vinegar, pepper, mustard, and olive oil in a small bowl with whisk. In a large salad bowl, toss the remaining ingredients together. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and serve. You could also substitute figs for cranberries. The key is the JD Gourmet vinegar...it is fabulous! It even has a hint of vanilla which makes this salad delicious. This will be a perfect starter for Thanksgiving! The Pairing: Casa Rossa Rosso Ruby red in color, Casa Rossa Rosso has intense floral aromas of roses along with strawberries and raspberries.
