Ingredientes

  • 1 c. All purpose flour
  • 1 c. Self rising flour
  • 5 x Large eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Shortening
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 lb Frzn coconut
  • 12 lrg Marshmallows
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Margarine
  • 1 can (small) evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 x -(up to)
  • 3 Tbsp. Cocoa

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together 2 c. sugar and 1 c. shortening. Beat in Large eggs 1 at a time. Sift the flour together.
  2. Add in to the sugar mix, alternating with the c. of lowfat milk. Stir in vanilla. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake for 30 to 35 min. Meanwhile place 1 c. sugar and 1 c. lowfat milk in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add in coconut and marshmallows. Stir and boil for 5 min. Stir in vanilla. Spread between layers while they are still warm. Let cold and frost.
  3. Icing: Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly till thick and it forms a soft ball when small amount is dropped in cool water. Cold and frost top and sides of cake.
