Ingredientes

  • 1 x young pheasant cut in pcs
  • 1/4 c. pancake mix
  • 1 lrg onion - (or possibly 2 medium)
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Roll pcs of pheasant in pancake mix (or possibly seasoned flour). Arrange dredged pcs in a single layer in a greased shallow casserole.
  2. Slice onions and blanket pheasant pcs with onion rings. Cover with melted butter. Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Bake in 375 degree oven till tender, about 1 hour. If more browning is desired, use 450 degree oven last 10 to 15 min and turn pcs as necessary.
