Ingredientes

  • 5 c. Fish, any kind
  • 2 c. White vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Whole peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp Whole allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Whole cloves
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Dill seeds
  • 1 med Onion, sliced
  • 1 c. Water

Direcciones

  1. Cut fish into 2-inch pcs and put in pot of water. Add in a little salt, bring to a boil and simmer for 3 min. Drain fish and set aside.
  2. Put rest of ingredients in pot (not fish) boil and simmer 3 to 5 min.
  3. Put fish chunks in jar or possibly casserole dish and pour all liquid over fish. Let cold, then chill for 7 days. Any bones left will disintegrate. Eat and enjoy.
