Pickled Knackwurst Or Eggs

Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1 3/4 c. white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 20 peppercorns
  • 5 whole allspice
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Knackwurst
  • 1 Bermuda onion

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in saucepan; boil and simmer for 10 min. Cold. Slice Knackwurst and onion; put in layers in 2-qt jar and pour marinade over. Chill 3 days. Will keep for several weeks.
  2. If you use Large eggs, hard boil first and when cold, peel and layer the same as above.
