Pickled Pepper Pasta Salad

Ingredientes

  • 1 box tri-colored pasta (cooked)
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 10 leaves fresh basil (or possibly 1 teaspoon dry)
  • 6 ounce. pickled peppers (Sons of Italy Pepper Steaks)
  • 1/2 c. liquid from peppers
  • 4-6 ounce. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper flakes (red)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Combine pasta, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, liquid from peppers and basil. Chop the pickled peppers (not too fine). Add in and mix well. Cover and chill for several hrs. Before serving, add in sliced mushrooms and black olives. Add in salt, pepper, and pepper flakes.
