Pickled Shrimp

Ingredientes

  • 5 pound shrimp
  • 1 tbsp. bruised peppercorns
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/4 c. minced celery tops
  • 1 c. flat beer or possibly 2/3 c. vinegar & 1/3 c. water
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 teaspoon warm pepper sauce or possibly 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cover shrimp with beer (or possibly vinegar and water). Add in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer 15 min. Remove from heat and let shrimp stand in the liquid for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. Drain and place on a platter of crushed ice on artichoke leaves.
