Ingredientes

  • 1 pound string beans (stem end trimmed)
  • 1-2 warm dry chili pepper pods (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic for each jar
  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 6-7 tbsp. salt

Direcciones

  1. You need a tall jar so you can leave the string beans whole. Wash and trim beans.
  2. Throw away any beans with blemishes.
  3. Add in pepper pod and garlic. Dissolve salt in water. Add in vinegar. Fill jars. Ready in about 14 days.
  4. Pack into jars. Process for 10-15 min in a boiling water bath or possibly store in the refrigerator till ready to use.
