- Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Combine beaten egg and vinegar in a measuring c.. Add in sufficient water to equal 1 c.. Add in liquid all at once to flour mix. Mix with fork to create into a ball. Shape dough into 8 individual balls. Store in freezer bags in freezer. Thaw in refrigerator.
- If when using, you don't use entire ball you can refreeze remnants with other dough. You can also store dough in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Makes 8 crusts.
