- Cook together 4 egg yolks, 1/2 c. sugar and crushed pineapple till thick. Remove from heat. Dissolve gelatin in cool water then add in warm water and pour into egg yolk mix, stir and let cold.
- Beat the egg whites with 1/2 c. sugar till stiff. Beat whipping cream. Fold all mixtures together and pour in a bowl lined with crushed vanilla wafers, reserve a few for the top.
