Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 lrg red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp whole mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp whole cumin seeds
  •     salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. Bring the water and the 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar to boil. Add in the onion. Return to a boil, then simmer, uncovered, for 2 to 3 min. Drain the onion and let it cold. Stir the onion, 1 1/2 tsp vinegar, oil, seeds, and salt together.
  2. Chill if not using right away, but allow the onions to come to room temp before serving.
