Ingredientes

  • 1/2 pound Great Northern beans
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 2 stalks celery, minced
  • 2 pound pork neck bones or possibly other ham for seasoning
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar

Direcciones

  1. Wash beans, don't soak. Put in kettle with meat, onions and water to cover, plus 1 inch. Bring to boil, simmer for 2 hrs. Add in water to former level and rest of ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 1 more hour.
