  • 6 QUARTS WATER OR LESS
  • 2.1/2 HAM DRIPPINGS THE
  • 1 SMALL JAR OF PACE PICANTE
  • NO SALT
  • SMALL HAND FULL OF PORK RINDS FROM HAM

  1. WHEN CHRISTMAS OR EASTER COME AROUND WE HAVE HAM AND THAT WERE I GET THE DRIPPINGS. THE HAM DRIPPINGS ADD SO MUCH FLAVOR. WE PUT WATER AND BEANS IN THE NIGHT BEFORE TO SOAK. THEN PUT ON THE STOVE AND COOK UNTIL READY TO EAT. IN ANOTHER DEEP POT WE ADD THE HAM DRIPPINGS ( NEED TO BE A TALL POT) BECAUSE YOU HEAT THE DRIPPING UNTIL VERY ROCKING BOIL OR VERY STEAMING. ADD PACE PICANTE SAUCE AND FRY THE MIXTURE FOR 2 MIN. THE AROMA WILL TELL YOU IT'S GOOD. MIXT TOGETHER BEANS AND PACE PICANTE AND COOK 30 MIN.MORE. SERVE WITH CORN BREAD ( FRY FRESH CORN THAT CUT OFF THE COB TO PUT IN CORN BREAD MIXT WITH CHEESE) REMENBER SALT WILL MAKE THING TOUGH WHEN FIRST COOKING.
