Pinto Beans Spanish Style

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound bag pinto beans
  • 2 lg. onions, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, minced
  • 1/2 c. green onions, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilis
  • 1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese
  • Salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cook beans till tender. In another pan, saute/fry onions and celery till tender and slightly browned. Add in to beans along with Rotel, garlic, salt and cheese. Continue cooking till beans are creamy.
  2. Serve over rice or possibly make bean burritos using flour tortillas. Put 2 scoop of beans on hot tortillas, sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Fold over and eat.
