Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Chinese chili sauce
  • 1 x clove garlic chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh mint leaves coarsely minced
  • 1 tsp lime peel grated
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with
  • 1 Tbsp. Cool water

Direcciones

  1. In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, chili sauce, garlic, mint and lime peel. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 2 min. Return sauce to a low boil and stir in sufficient of the cornstarch mix to lightly thicken sauce. Strain sauce through a sieve placed over a small serving bowl.
  2. Let sauce cold at leat 10 min; sauce is best at room temperature.
  3. Serve with chilled shrimp.
