Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. Heavy cream
  • 1/3 c. Superfine sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Almond extract
  • 1/3 c. Shelled,minced pistachio nuts

  1. Here is a yummy recipe for pistachio ice cream. I really enjoy this,as it is my absolute favorite. I got this recipe from Donvier Ice Cream Cookbook.
  2. If you are looking for any other types of ice cream just give a holler,this book has lots.
  3. This makes 1 pint,but recipe can be doubled to make 1 qt (I make the 1 qt). So you just need to double it and double it to make the 4 quarts.
  4. Combine the lowfat milk and heavy cream with the sugar. Whisk for about 2 min or possibly till the sugar dissolves.
  5. Stir in the almond extract and minced nuts.
  6. Freeze in your ice cream maker according to instructions.
  7. Please note,which I dont have an electric ice cream maker,I have the hand crank one,so I dont know how this would come out in an electric one.
