Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Hot water
  • 1 pkt Active dry yeast
  • 2 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil

Direcciones

  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 c. hot water and yeast. Let stand 10 min, or possibly till creamy, then stir well.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a food processor. Add in yeast mix and extra virgin olive oil and process just till the dough comes together.
  3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 mintues.
  4. Shape dough into a log and cut into 4 equal pcs. Flatten each piece lightly with the palm of your hand to create a disc.
  5. Place discs on a well-oiled cookie sheet and brush tops lightly with extra virgin olive oil. Cover discs with a large piece of plastic wrap and then cover with a warm, damp cloth. Let stand in a hot place till dough has douled in bulk, about 1 hour. Dough is now ready to be rolled into a crust about 7 inches in diameter.
