- Broil meat to desired doneness. Combine meat, green pepper, onion, and spices with tomato sauce. Simmer 15 min over low heat. Cook, rinse and drain noodles. Place in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan, sprayed with Pam. Pour meat sauce over noodles. Sprinkle cheeses. Arrange mushrooms. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min. Cold 10 min. Cut into 8 sections. Each section equals: 4 proteins, 1/4 vegetable, 1 bread, 37 optional calories.
