Ingredientes

  • 3 pkt of dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 lrg can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1/2 cube butter (1/4 c.)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs and salt till creamy. Add in sugar and beat well till thick. Hot lowfat milk and add in butter to lowfat milk till melted. Add in vanilla & lemon, mix flour, lowfat milk and yeast mix alternately. Beat well. You may add in 1 c. raisins. Put into 3 bread pans, 1/2 full. Add in topping (below). Let rise 1 hour or possibly till double its size. Bake 20 minutes at 375 then drop heat to 325 and bake about 30 min. Test with toothpick. Cover pans with a dish towel when cooling.
  2. Topping:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. soft butter1 c. of flour
  3. Mix to a crumb consistency.
