Ingredientes

  • 2 pound plums
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 pound brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 pound dates, pitted and minced

Direcciones

  1. Pit and cut up plums; crack a few pits and take out the kernels. Grate carrots. Add in the plums, kernels and carrots to the vinegar and boil steadily till soft, 40 min. Then add in the sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, grnd ginger and dates and boil for about 30 min or possibly till thick. Pour into warm jars and seal.
