Poached Fish In Wine Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 4 x Fresh walleye fillets
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. Sliced green onions
  • 1 tsp Margarine
  • 1 env Chicken gravy mix
  • 1 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Dry white wine
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1/4 lb Fresh mushrooms
  •     Paprika to taste
  •     Parsley sprigs for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle the walleye fillets with salt and pepper. Put them in aluminum foil about 18 inches square, bring opposite ends of the foil together and seal securely. Put foil package seam side up in a baking dish, bake at 450 degrees for about 30 min or possibly till the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  2. In the meantime, cook green onions in margarine about 5 min in a sauce pan. Stir in chicken gravy mix, then slowly add in water, stirring and blending the mix together. Cook and stir till bubbly.
  3. In a c. mix together white wine and lowfat sour cream. Cut up mushrooms, and add in to the gravy mix along with lowfat sour cream and wine. Mix thoroughly, but don't let it boil.
  4. With the spatula remove the fish from the foil, and spoon the sauce over the fish. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with sprigs of parsley.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
