Ingredientes

  • 3 ounce sugar
  • 1 pound hard green pears
  • 1 bottle red wine, Burgundy
  • 1 - 2 cinnamon sticks

Direcciones

  1. Peel pears, leaving stems intact. Place pears in saucepan and add in sugar, wine and cinnamon. Simmer slowly, basting frequently, till tender but not mushy. Remove pears carefully, standing them upright. Slowly boiled own the wine mix till thickened. It will be clear.
