Ingredientes

  • 1 quart Lowfat milk -- scalded
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 c. Butter
  • 8 tsp Salt
  • 5 lb Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 5 pkt Yeast
  • 10 whl Large eggs

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1 c. water. to scalded lowfat milk add in water, butter and salt.
  2. then add in sugar. when it cools add in 1 c. water w/ disolved yeast. beat 10 Large eggs. then add in to mix. gradually knead in 5 lbs of flour. let rise for 2 hrs. when risen separate into 7 equal portions. separate each portion int 3 parts. roll each part into a rope then braid the dough into 7 loaves
  3. (3 ropes each). bake @ 350 for 35 min.
