Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
  • 1/2 pound grnd pork
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 med. head cabbage
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 med. onion
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed

Direcciones

  1. Chop cabbage coarsely and boil in water approximately 10 min; drain.
  2. Cook rice and cold.
  3. Mix meat with Large eggs, onion, seasonings and 1/2 can tomato soup; add in rice and mix well.
  4. Place 1/2 cabbage in lasagne pan. Cover cabbage with meat mix and then cover with remaining cabbage.
  5. Dilute rest of tomato soup with an equal amount of water. Pour over all. Cover with foil and bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hrs in 350 degree oven. (For thicker sauce, use Hunts tomato sauce rather than soup.)
