Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. instant mashed potatoes (6 to 7 ounce)
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 lbs. lean grnd pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry marjoram leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 T salad oil
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • Minced parsley

  1. Make potato border. Set aside. Make meatballs: In large bowl put together the pork, egg, bread crumbs, lowfat milk, onion, salt, marjoram, pepper and mix lightly till well blended. Shape into balls about 1 1/2 inches. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Roll meatballs in 2 tbsp flour, coating good. In hot oil in frying pan, saute meatballs till browned on all sides. Remove as they brown to a 2 qt casserole or possibly shallow baking dish, pile in center.
  2. Make lowfat sour cream sauce. Measure the drippings in frying pan, add in more oil if necessary to make 2 tbsp. Return to frying pan, stir in flour till smooth. Gradually stir in 1 cup water and the bouillon cube. Bring to boiling, remove from heat. Add in lowfat sour cream and lemon juice, stirring to put together, simmer for 2 min, remove from heat.
  3. Spoon mashed potatoes around meatballs in casserole, sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake uncovered 1 hour or possibly till potatoes are golden. Garnish with parsley. Makes 8 servings.
