2.5 Cups Flour
1 tsp quick rise yeast
1 tsp salt
1.5 tbsp sugar
1.5 tbsp virgin olive oil
1 cups warm water
1 tbsp milk
1/4 Poppy Seeds

Ingredientes

  • 2.5 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp quick rise yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp virgin olive oil
  • 1 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 Poppy Seeds

Direcciones

  1. put half flour in a bowl with yeast, salt and sugar. Combine oil and warm water. Pour oil mixture into flour mixture and combine slowly until flour is moistened. Add remaining flour bits at a time. When all the flour is mixed in. Knead for 4 to 5 Minutes until the dough is smooth and Elastic. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in a warm spot for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 F. punch dough down once to deflate. Cut the dough in half.
  2. roll out each piece into an oblong shape. 1 inch thick. Place each loaf on a dusted cookie sheet. Dimple each loaf with fingers. Cover with clean dish cloth. set aside for 15 minutes. Dimple once more. then Brush with milk, Sprinkle each with poppy seeds. Bake for 25 to 30 Minutes until Puffy and golden. Serve warm or at room temp
