Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c. of uncooked white rice
  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sauce
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. of cola (NOT DIET! - Coke works best.)
  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, being sure that the uncooked rice is distributed evenly. Shape into 1 1/2-inch diameter balls and place in an oblong baking pan, leaving some space between the balls to allow rice to expand.
  2. Whisk ketchup, cola, and garlic together in a small sauce pan. When just about boiling, remove from heat and pour over meatballs. Bake entire casserole at 375, covered, for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake another 10-15 minutes until browned on top.
