Receta Pork Bahn Mi {Low Carb}
These Pork Bahn Mi sandwiches are the perfect fusion of French and Asian cuisines and made with a low carb bun.
It wasn’t that long ago that I didn’t venture past the tried and true. I grew up on Italian cuisine. Pasta was a staple in our kitchen. It took me years to even consider any other international cuisine. American, and Italian, it’s what I knew best.
The first time I tried Vietnamese cuisine I was cautious. But when the first bowl of Pho was placed in front of me and I took my first spoonful I was, um, well, addicted.
Since then, I wanted to try Bahn Mi, but hesitated because of this dang low carb eating plan that I have been on. However, when the Great Low Carb Bread Company sent me some hot dog buns, the first thing that came to mind was Bahn Mi. Now I know it’s not the crusty torpedo roll type of bun, but who cares. These Hot Dog buns are out of this world delicious and my Bahn Mi was the quintessential sandwich ever did I make.
And this, my friends, is no lie, the pickled vegetables on this sandwich was even enjoyed by the pickiest of them all, the hubby.
