Pork Chop Recipe

This is a great pork chop recipe that I got from my mom. I know that originally she got the idea off of a German cookbook many years ago.

Since then, she tweaked the recipe and added a few ingredients of her own. I have been using her version for quite sometime. I don't eat pork often, but do love pork chops.

Ingredientes

  • 4-6 Pork Chops
  • 8 oz. Beer
  • 2 T. Olive Oil
  • 1 T. Butter
  • 1 Large Onion, Sliced
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Flour
  • 1/4 C. Chopped Parsley

Direcciones

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the pork chops in flour.
  3. In a pan, add 2 T. Olive Oil.
  4. Add the pork chops and brown, about 3 minutes a side.
  5. Remove the pork chops from the pan.
  6. Add butter and more olive oil if needed.
  7. Add the onions. Cook for about 6 minutes.
  8. Add the beer.
  9. Add the pork chops back in the pan. Cover, and cook on low for about 15 minutes or until done.
  10. When done, add the chopped parsley.
  11. To serve: You can eat the chops alone or serve with rice.
