Ingredientes

  • 4 med. pork chops
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1 can condensed consomme, undiluted
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • Dash of marjoram
  • 1 med. tomato, cut into 4 slices
  • 4 rings green pepper

Direcciones

  1. Brown chops well in skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cut 4 slices from center of onion reserving this for later use. Chop remaining onion and combine with raw rice in 2-qt casserole. Top with chops. To drippings in skillet, add in consomme, water and marjoram; bring to a boil.
  2. On each pork chop place one slice each of tomato, onion and green pepper; sprinkling each with salt and pepper. Pour consomme mix over all. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till meat is tender.
  3. Makes 4 servings.
