Pork Chop & Scalloped Potato Bake

Ingredientes

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 4 potatoes, pared & thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp. parsley

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan. Brown pork chops in oil. Remove chops from pan; add in onion rings and saute/fry till tender. Remove from heat.
  2. In saucepan, heat butter; stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute. Add in lowfat milk and broth slowly. Cook, stirring constantly till sauce thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat.
  3. Arrange sliced potatoes in prepared pan. Top with onion rings. Pour sauce proportionately over potatoes and onions. Top with chops. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 1 hour. Uncover; bake 10 min longer or possibly till chops and potatoes are tender.
