Ingredientes

  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 x pork chops, each 1 inch thick
  • 3 c. coarsely minced tomatoes
  • 1 x green pepper diced
  • 1 sm onion minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 c. water

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry the rice in a large skillet in oil over medium heat 3 to 5 min or possibly till browned, stirring constantly. Remove the rice and set aside. Add in pork chops to the skillet and brown on both sides. Combine rice tomatoes, green pepper, onion, salt and pepper; spoon over the pork chops. Add in the water; cover and simmer 50 to 55 min or possibly till pork chops are tender.( the juice from the tomatoes and the water is sufficient for the rice)
