Pork Pata Kare-Kare

Ingredientes

  • 1 kl Pork pata or Ox tripe
  • 1 kare-kare mix stew based
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 big red tomato
  • string beans, cut 2inch long
  • eggplant, cut into 4 (halved-lengthwise)
  • pechay tagalog
  • young puso ng saging, cut into lengthwise, halved
  • patis (fish sauce -optional)
  • bagoong *spicy if desired

Direcciones

  1. Boil pork pata or ox tail until tender (use pressure cooker -optional)
  2. Reduce broth.
  3. Add garlic, onion, tomatoes and let it simmer.
  4. Add the kare-kare mix when tomatoes are already cooked.
  5. Add the vegetables.
  6. Bring to a boil until vegetables are cooked.
  7. Pour in a little fish saude if desired.
  8. Serve with bagoong.
