- Place pork in freezer while you prepare the vegetables, it will be easier to slice in thin strips. Cut onions in half and slice, break slices apart. Cut peppers into long, thin slices. Place vegetables in warm oil. Saute/fry vegetables till they cook down (approximately 10 min). Pull vegetables to one side and add in pork. Brown pork. Add in vegetables, beef stock, tomato paste, paprika and salt & pepper to taste. Cover and simmer 30-40 min. Serve with wide egg noodles.
