Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Lean grnd pork, finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Dry sherry
  • 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd white pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp MSG (optional)
  •     Healthy pinch of sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced green onion
  • 1 x Egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp. Medium minced bamboo shoots or possibly water chestnuts (optional)
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pkt Shu-mei skins or possibly Gyoza skins, available at the supermarket

Direcciones

  1. Mix all of the ingredients for the filling together, and mix them well.
  2. Place about 3/4 Tbsp. of filling in the center of each noodle wrapper and bring up the corners so which you have a little money bag.
  3. Leave the top open so which you can see some of the meat. For fun you might put 1 frzn green pea on the top of each for added color.
  4. Steam in an oiled bamboo steamer for 15 min, on high heat.
  5. NOTE: You can also add in a bit of shrimp to this dish.
  6. It adds a great deal of flavor. Try about 1/2 c. of minced fresh shrimp.
