Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 454 gm Pork fillet, sliced (1lb)
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 x Salad onions, minced
  • 125 gm Button mushrooms, quartered (4oz)
  • 2 Tbsp. German mustard
  • 1 x 200 gram car quark
  • 2 Tbsp. Freshly minced thyme
  • 2 Tbsp. Freshly minced parsley
  •     Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
  • 2 tsp Cornflour blended with
  • 1 Tbsp. Water

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil, add in the pork and garlic and cook for 4-5 min till browned.
  2. Add in the onions and mushrooms and cook for a further 3-4 min.
  3. Stir in the mustard, quark , thyme, half the parsley seasoning and blended cornflour. Cook for a further 2-3 min.
  4. Spoon into a serving dish and sprinkle with the remaining parsley.
  5. NOTES : A delicious creamy sauce combining mustard and quark. Delicious served with crisp jacket potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
