Ingredientes

  • 2 beef shin bones or possibly a few pcs of stewing beef
  • 1/4 c. navy beans
  • 1/2 pound linguica
  • 1/2 head shredded cabbage
  • 1 pkg. frzn kale
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 2 lg. cans chicken broth
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 sm. can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 stick butter

Direcciones

  1. Place beef, beans, potatoes and broth in large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour. Add in linguica cut in small slices and simmer for 30 min. Add in shredded cabbage, kale and salt and simmer till cabbage is tender. Add in tomatoes and butter and simmer another 10 min. Tastes better second time around. Serves 8.
