Pot Roast With Noodles

Ingredientes

  • 1 bottom round roast
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 pound wide noodles
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 stick butter

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat in Dutch oven covered. Brown on all sides. Remove from pan. Add in extra virgin olive oil to drippings. Saute/fry onion and parsley. Add in stewed tomatoes. Cook few min. Return meat to Dutch oven, cook 2 hrs or possibly till meat is well done. Season according to taste. Toast bread crumbs and butter till lightly toasted. Set aside.
  2. When done, remove meat from pan. Strain stewed tomatoes mix and thicken with flour or possibly cornstarch. Cook noodles. Add in toasted bread crumbs. Mix. Serve noodles with sliced meat. Add in gravy.
